I’ve been busy doing genealogy “stuff,” but more busy doing other “stuff.” I needed the break from this site simply because I didn’t have anything to really add based on the work I was doing.
Instead, I was doing a lot of shooting. To feed the activity, I was also doing a lot of reloading. I re-upped for another year on my local gun club’s board of directors, and have been busy coordinating the creation of a strategic plan for the club. I still do the club’s monthly newsletter, and also a monthly aggregation of gun-related news that goes to club members with the newsletter.
Not getting away from the genealogy completely, however, I was still doing a bit of clean up on profiles, correcting errors, merging profiles when requests came through, and the like; just no real active research. I have now had the break I needed, and am now back on-track. I am now sorting my records and will begin updating some of my information shortly. Stay tuned….
